Volleyball BlogTeens, Girls & CoachingRecently, my girls left a team because they were miserable. Despite having some great skills and pretty good team work, the coach would absolutely berate these young athletes to the point that they would just fall apart. The problem? Well, nothing except the coach was coaching as if they were boys
Fellow Coaches, we are trying to put three things together that are all pretty challenging all by themselves, teens & girls and coaching. As we coach longer and longer and if we are astute, we will see some patterns emerging. I want to spend some time discussing one of those patterns that we MUST realize and accept.
