Jessie Cooper

Introduction

Hello Volleyballers, I want to share how excited I am to be your volleyball expert! You can read more in my bio below, but I’ve had quite the journey with this great sport of volleyball. From some humble beginnings on the Tustin High School varsity volleyball team, to playing for some of the top SoCal volleyball clubs, followed by a D-I collegiate career as a middle blocker at Brown University, to then taking up the sand game and competing professionally on the AVP and FIVB tours, I’ve had the opportunity play the game over a number of years and at a variety of levels.

Experience

Cooper played collegiately at Brown University from 1999 - 2003, where she was a 3x Academic All American and 2x First Team All-Ivy. During her time at Brown, she was also selected as as Rhode Island's 2003 NCAA Woman of the Year. Cooper still holds all-time school records for kills, hitting percentage and blocks per game.

She made her first AVP appearance in 2005 in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Cooper competed on the AVP qualifying tour for three seasons, as well as select FIVB tournaments. She has represented the US at international tournaments in Buenos Aires, Hong Kong and Montreal.
