Guide Review
Good as Gold
Players around the world have long held theTachikara SV-5W Gold as the best.  This ball has an awesome feel with a very forgiving suspended bladder allowing great passing control and a nice feel in any setter's hands.  The only real complaint is the quick wear down of the leather exterior.  The fine leather's porous quality, while increasing the softness and playability of the ball, quickly degrades the appearance of the ball.  The SV-5W Gold looked beat-up and worn after just two weeks of play.  While true volleyball players know that its not how the ball looks but how the ball plays, for club owners, a bunch of shabby looking balls may not sit well with parents paying those club dues.
