But that good news was overshadowed by an incredible decision by the Iranian government to ban all women from attending World League matches.
2014 World League Schedule
The 2014 World League is going to be the biggest ever and the format has changed a bit. This time around, the top teams will be in two pools of four. Each team in Pools A & B will play the other teams in its pool four times - twice at home and twice away. The top two teams from the top two pools will move on to the final round of six along with host country Italy and the overall winner from Polls C, D & E. USA is in Pool B along with Russia, Serbia and Bulgaria. World League play runs from May 23rd through July 20th.

World League: USA Men Earn Spot in Final Round
Though the second half of the 2014 World League preliminary round did not go as smoothly for the U.S. men as the first half did, the team did what it had to do to earn a spot in the final round by winning one of two matches against Serbia in the final weekend of play.
